random memories, things and happenings for which i’m thankful to be alive -

- having scrubs playing in the background as i fall asleep, when i get ready, or when i’m cleaning my room

- every inside joke i’ve ever had with any one of my friends.. those mental connections i have with the ones i’m closest to, or ‘firewire’ that couldn’t be replaced by anybody else

- looking back on a decently long hangout sesh with friends and saying ‘wow, we’ve been together for X hours straight’

- sushi. it’s delicious

- late night conversations via online, texting, phone

- getting together with friends i haven’t seen in years and hitting it off like not a day has passed

- sitting in my car with the guy i used to love, in the middle of the winter, parked on the side of the road, talking about anything and everything until five in the morning, turning the car on only for heat when it’s gotten too cold

- being a fantastic writer, looking back on things i’ve composed and thinking ‘i am such a god damn genius’

- showers after being in the sun

- the feeling you get when you procrastinate school work

- the feeling you get when you’ve finished school work in advance, for that matter

- candles, fire, smoke
